Jack Hayford, D.Litt

Dr. Jack W. Hayford, a nationally and internationally recognized scholar and teacher, the president of the Foursquare Church, and the chancellor of the King's College and Seminary, is probably best known as "Pastor Jack," the founding pastor of the Church on the Way, the First Foursquare Church of Van Nuys, Calif. He is also a prolific author, having written dozens of books and 600 hymns and choruses, and has served on various interdenominational committees and councils. Pastor Jack has also filled many strategic leadership positions with The Foursquare Church, including several years as the president of Life Pacific College (also known as LIFE Bible College) and numerous terms as a member of the cabinet and the executive council. He has two bachelor's degrees, one from Life Pacific College and one from Azusa Pacific University. He has received three honorary degrees: the Doctor of Divinity from both Life Pacific College and Oral Roberts University, and the Doctor of Literature from California Graduate School of Theology.
